Creative Fundraising - Part I
Let's get creative!
Board member Hoala Greevy drops off an Uku he caught from his kayak to Roosevelt graduate Jeff Watanabe on March 14, 2011.
Hoala caught the Uku the day before out on the Waianae coast. He put it on ice for a day, then brought it to Jeff's house along with knife and cutting board. As part of his fish delivery package, Hoala filleted the Gray Snapper for Jeff's family. They enjoyed it sashimi style, yum!
In exchange for the personal fish delivery, Jeff made a generous donation to the Foundation's "Class of '94 Scholarship."
